Luxury 2 bedroom apartment with entrance hall, newly arranged kitchen with fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave etc. bathroom, large lounge and sun terrace. Bedroom one has a double bed, large fitted wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and large wardrobe/closet. A temporary collapsible bed is available for an extra child. High chair available with travel cot.
The sun terrace has a table and chairs, 2 reclining sun chairs, a sea view and sun during the day. The terrace overlooks the tropical gardens in front of the apartments which is safe for small children. Los Girasoles also has a restaurant, bar, tennis court and a community swimming pool /recreation area about 100 yards from the apartment.
There is ample car parking to the front and side of the apartments. Public telephone and a post box are outside the building. The beach and nearest shop is mile away

Boats can be chartered from The Marina Del Este. Day trips can be organised around the coast with photo a stop at a remote beach for snorkelling and refreshments. There are many tennis courts where visitors can play. Two courts are available on Los Palomas. One of which is attached to our Apartments in "Los Girasoles". Another is located at The Marina Del Este. These can be booked in advance and are inexpensive.
Three golf courses are within easy reach of La Herradura. These are not championship courses but are located in beautiful surroundings and are substantially cheaper than some of the more prestigious courses around Marbella. A typical example is Camp De Golf at Salobrena. This is a 20 minute drive and is located on the beach. The club house, restaurant and bar are all newly built. The course is 2 x 9 holes . The green fees are 22 Euros (12.50).
For the family who would like to play a couple of rounds of golf while on holiday this is highly recommended. There are many local scuba diving centres. One is located at Pena Parda in La Herradura. Others are available in Almunecar and Nerja.

La Herradura is a quiet and unspoilt village. There is very much to see and do. The apartment is situated in a beautiful and easy assessable location. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and apart from all the basic equipment you would expect to find in this type of accommodation, it also included; TV, Video, Videos, Books, Board games, CD player, CD's, Washing machine, Outside washing lines and a very handy large Fridge freezer. Quality comfortable bedrooms a lovely large balcony where you can relax and unwind in the evening and excellent parking. Our stay in this apartment was like home from home.
